This was the first thing I saw when I got to the rally Friday morning, Jeff Rossi tore off a landing skid and put a hole in his skirt

Jeff still working on his UH-17

Would you believe that he has an x-box in his craft

A pic of a future hover-nut playing with Jeff's x-box

The monster taking a rest up river on the Cowlitz

Jeff making another repair, this seemed to be a reocuring theme the whole week-end, he said that he never had this problem in salt water, this was his first time in fresh water and with shallows

Jim Brenneke ariving with his 16' Sevetec Prospector, if you look just to the left of the sev you'll see Dave Timmerman's Star Cruiser being repaired, he had an argument with a rock wall in a sharp bend on the Toutle River and lost

Jim's Prospector

Jim on the narrow ramp

The water may look green but that is just reflection from the bank, the water was crystal clear

Barry Palmer refuelling after giving several rides to visitors

Thrust duct and rudders of Barry's 16' Fantistac

The dock was so small that only two craft at a time could tie up

Pic of the Cowlitz thru the windscreen of Jeff Rossi's craft

Even thou it doesn't look it, the water here is about 5 feet deep, that is how clear it is

UH-18 at the dock

A grey haired old fart getting a ride in the UH-18

Dave Timmerman giving rides in his Star Cruiser, I realy like the idea of the intercom, it gives you hearing protection plus you can talk with out yelling

Dave doing 360's, he did this all day long to the delight of his passengers

Dave still doing 360's

Still doing 360's, I would be sick by now.........lol

Ok, OK, here is a shot of me and my beer gut and of course I have a beer in my hand, damn, I've got to get some "just for men" and cover up some of that grey......lol

Jeff Rossi showing off one of the signs he made at his sign shop

Launching the UH-18, this was the first time launching it at this ramp so it's hooked to the pick-up, he was playing it safe as he only had about 3 hrs. total time on the craft.

Dave Timmerman getting ready to launch down the narrow ramp

If you zoom in and look thru the lift fan duct and you will see the radiator
